Decent place to stay 1 mile away from Bel Air Mall. Courteous staff members, brand-new rooms with 2 full beds and a sofabed, for example. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Simply no complaints, ENJOYABLE stay.

It was flies and roaches crawling over our heads at night, I took pictures they didn't want to do anything about it. The house keeper didn't clean up the room or bathroom, the front desk attendant had a very nasty attitude and was rude. He wouldn't put out breakfast when you would come in.

The comforter was dingy, with burn holes throughout. The sofa cushions were very dirty and looks old. It's hard to be comfortable sleeping in and around something like that. Was not told there was breakfast so of course, I cannot comment. I checked in very late at night due to attending my uncles funeral in the city. Traveling all the way from Ohis to Alabama and being exhausted, that's the last thing one needs is to be uncomfortable.

The location was great. Free wifi. Free cable.
It was so dirty. I got a non smoking room and found cigg butts in the toilet and couch when I got there. The rooms had not been vacuumed. The shower curtain and ceiling had mold. The counters were dirty and im pretty sure I found the remnants of an illegal herb on the tray that the ice box sits on. The room was so strong with some type of perfumey scent it was hard to breathe at first. I'm not usually picky or a complainer bUT this room was very nasty and it was the second room we were put in because the first was so nasty and the staff acted like it was no big deal. No bugs thank god!

The A/C was very good. The Shower worked well.
Our room had old bedding with what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets. It was a massive turn-off. The bedding is so old and the bed was not well made. The furniture was also very dated. At this price point I guess I should expect some issues, but the place seemed unsave... "party people" seemed to come and go to various rooms throughout the night. Man, I am really disappointed in the American Motel industry... today they are much better alternatives like AirBnB, Camping, etc... In the future I will try my hardest to avoid such "value" motels.

The room is adequate for a family stay, but
The cleanliness left much to be desired. We encountered dirty sheets and a noisy air conditioning system, made it hard to rest. Despite this, the location near Walmart was convenient for our needs.

Staff was very accommodating to our needs and wishes.
Unfavorable activity outside of our room. But the staff was quick to respond to our complaints to ensure a more comfortable stay for our family.

The bed slept very good.
This was to be a non smoking and someone smoked in it there were ashes on the floor by and behind the bed side tables and also behind the bedside table between the bed and the couch there was KFC trash. So clearly this room was not cleaned very well before our stay.

Dirty - no food left at breakfast by 0800. Some toast - milk was empty -no syrup - everyone had to make Waffle because it was that it share 4 pcs of toast. Yet no syrup or butter left for the waffles ...

The king suite was spacious for our group, and we loved that it was close to Azalea City Golf Course and Magnolia Grove Golf Course for a fun day out. A solid choice for budget travelers looking for activities nearby.
I did notice the pool could use some cleaning, which gave me a bit of concern for hygiene.

Everything was OK besides the hassle I had when it was time to check in. I called a day in advance to notify then of early check in the person I spoke with on the phone said that was fine. I get there and waited two hours before a room was available causing so many problems
